Service overview

Coated Components Supplied by Us

Customers can select substrates or optical components from our product range. We supply these components with coatings applied to agreed specifications.

Contract Coating of Customer-Supplied Substrates

We also coat suitable uncoated optical substrates and finished components supplied by customers, according to their existing coating specifications.

Coating Inspection & Verification

Spectrophotometric reflectance and transmittance measurements at selected wavelengths from 260 nm to 14 µm. Angle- and polarization-dependent measurements where applicable. For interference filters, verification may include center wavelength, FWHM, peak transmittance and out-of-band blocking.

Component & Quantity Options

Coating of flat and selected curved or nonstandard optical surfaces. Individual components, prototypes, and small batches on request.

Available coating types

Customer-specified coatings can be evaluated for selected wavelengths from 355 nm to 2.94 µm and IR ranges of 3–5 µm and 8–12 µm, including 10.6 µm for CO₂ laser optics. Angles of incidence from 0° to 60° can be supported, depending on substrate material, geometry and optical performance requirements.

  • Metallic Mirror Coatings

Aluminum, silver and gold reflective coatings for selected optical mirror applications.

  • Anti-Reflection (AR) Coatings

Single-wavelength, dual-wavelength and broadband AR coatings.

  • High-Reflection (HR) Coatings

High-reflectance coatings for laser mirrors, resonator mirrors and other reflective optics.

  • Partial-Reflection (PR) Coatings

Coatings with specified reflectance for output couplers and other laser optics.

  • Beam-Splitter Coatings

Custom coatings with specified reflectance and transmittance for beam splitters and wavelength-selective optical applications.

  • Infrared (IR) and Protective Coatings

IR anti-reflection and reflective coatings; selected protective and DLC coatings for germanium and silicon.

  • Optical Filter Coatings

AR and application-specific coatings for selected colored glass filters; bandpass interference coatings (including narrowband and dual-bandpass designs), as well as longpass and shortpass coatings.

  • High-Power Laser Coatings

AR and HR coatings for high-power laser applications, including nanosecond-pulsed laser systems, with LIDT requirements assessed on request.
